Lunar website was registered in 2016. Before Lunar website I used free subdomains and free php hosting solutions for
4 years. In 2016 I made the plunge to finally register my own domain, and to start using proper hosting solutions, which lead
to the creation of Lunar Hosting fairly quickly after that.
Lunar Network was established in 2014, when I published my first ever public website. I called it a network because although
I wasn't using my own hosting solutions at this time, I held ownership of a handful of services on multiple servers,
such as minecraft servers and garry's mod servers, and of course the website I published.
Prior to Lunar Network, I only ever developed for offline test websites which were never published, and for minecraft servers.
Lunar Hosting was officially established online in 2017 after I had gotten my first customer at the end of 2016. My first customer
hosted a website, and I've gone on to host websites for hundreds of customers, and to host game servers for a dozen customers.
Currently to become a customer, you have to reach out to me at [email protected],
because even though Lunar Hosting had a website back in 2017, it was taken down in 2019 due to lack of traction. None of my customers ever used
Lunar Hosting's website, so it felt irrelevent to have.
Customers of Lunar Hosting manage their accounts via Lunar Billing, and many of them were unaware Lunar Hosting had it's own website.
Lunar Billing is my own custom billing software built from the ground up to allow me to regularly send invoices to customers, and to track hours spent
developing for customer's websites. Initially it was designed to allow it to be resold to other hosting providers, but has since had that function
abandoned.
